Working on a yearly basis with the Bonneville Environmental Foundation, Steaming Kettle buys BEF Carbon Offsets, which are Green-e® Climate Certified and the highest certification possible. Starting in 2008, Steaming Kettle has purchased carbon credits that exceed estimated usage by at least 10%.
To offset Steaming Kettle’s emissions, BEF will use cash generated by the sale of credits to create and maintain renewable energy projects such as Sherbino Mesa Wind Farmnear Pecos County, TX.
